One of the worst mistakes I’ve made when it comes to email marketing is not emailing enough.
You know you get past those 7 tips or lessons you promised and then the million dollar question comes into play.
What exactly do you write about? Where do you go to find the interesting and entertaining bits of information that your leads are looking for?
I had a hard time answering that question for myself and struggled with it for a couple years. But finding content to keep in touch with your leads is easier than you think. Here’s 3 ways to keep a fresh supply of content:
1. Read a lot: The best way to come up with ideas on what to write next is to read a lot of interesting things. These will inspire you and help you keep a list of possible topics when contacting your leads.
2. Tell your story: You’ve worked hard to get where you are, even if you’re just starting out. Is there something in your personal story that can help your leads and help them solve a big problem? Chances are, there are inspiration points in your own story that can not only help your prospects solve their problems but also get to know you.
3. Share your knowledge: Did you just come across a brilliant idea to make your prospect’s life easier? Go ahead and share it. Let them know about it and get some feedback in return.
The bottom line is that you want to stay connected with your prospects and help them get to know you and your products. Share your knowledge, tell your story and keep a fresh list of inspiring topics to keep them interested!
