How Often Do you Check Your Emails?

When I first started with time management and productivity “stuff”..emails were a big thing for me. I couldn’t even think of not checking my emails and hitting the reply button right when I got one.

Yeah, that was a couple years ago. I am now perfectly comfortable with checking my emails just twice a day.

The best time to check emails?

I think it certainly depends on you and your work schedule. I wouldn’t check them early in the morning or too late at night. I’m a night person so the night is when I’m more creative so I certainly don’t need any distractions at night. I like checking them around 2 PM when I’m home for the day. Around 6 if I’ve been away from home.

Anyhow, how often do you check your emails? And, what’s the time that works for you?
