One of the biggest barriers to success, I think, is Procrastination. Now, procrastination is an amazing thing, it kicks in because of so many things, one of them being our fear. It could be fear of failure, fear of success or whatever.

The fun part with procrastination (or maybe the difficult part) is that we need to change the overlying causes to overcome procrastination.

Here’s an idea to overcome your fear or even your laziness (or feeling of unconnectedness with your goals and dreams)

Start out the day by doing what you love, do something you are passionate about.

If you know what your life purpose is, move towards it, if you don’t know it – don’t worry. Just do whatever makes you feel good in the moment.

Ideally, we’d be spending 24 hours doing the things we love everyday (I think that’s what most of us want to move towards). But, if that isn’t possible right now, start off small. Just get up 15 minutes early and do something you love.

Here’s my example:

I love encouraging others and helping them get to their goals.

So, here’s what I’ve been doing this week – first thing in the morning. Either writing articles or blog posts that can help me get to my goals.

What I find is happening is that when I start off my day doing what I LOVE, I get the feeling of happiness, love, passion and excitement in my body which I can then use to do all the tasks I don’t love. It helps me get through those boring tasks that are necessary.

So, here’s a new (from my awareness) concept for time management. This one is not from my ebook but I’d like to add it if others experience the same thing I’ve been experimenting with. Just let me know!
