Online Reminder Service IwantSandy Review

By Rigdha | Mar 31, 2008

Old Time
Reminder services are abundant online and some of them are excellent. You can use them to remember or set your to-do list, jot things down to talk to your spouse about and so much more. As you can imagine, reminder services make life a lot easier. And there’s a lot of ways to do it…on paper (my favorite) or online.

I’ve been out in the field testing some of these reminder services last week and yet I forgot something important…(It does have to do with the newsletter but I’ll tell you the full story later tonight when I publish the newsletter).

Back to the matter on hand…and let’s talk about my discovery of the week IwantSandy.

What I like about Sandy

What I like the best about Sandy is it’s Free! Free doesn’t always mean low quality though.. I want Sandy is an excellent service.

Signing up is a piece of cake. All you need is your email address and a new password..and you’re in business..

Once you’ve filled in the details, you’ll get a welcome email with a special email address where you can email Sandy and get her to remember all your tasks.

From there, it’s as easy as sending out an email…

You can also setup reminders from your account area from their website but I bet, you’ll like the email version better.

And then you get the reminders..here’s what a sample reminder looks like

What’s more? You can even setup reminders from your team members, just CC them..

What I don’t like..

From my research so far, I can’t add reminders from my cell phone which beats the purpose of the service for me. I usually get my best ideas when I’m away from the desk so having a way to jot down those ideas and set reminders when I’m away from the computer is a huge one for me..

But, in all, IwantSandy is a very good and incredibly easy to use service for all your grocery lists, meeting reminders and such…Check them out.
