On Tuesday, we talked about using notepads to capture details and most importantly your ideas..we talked about physical notepads but today I want to talk about digital notepads (The ones on your computer) because let’s face it, a lot of us spend too much time in front of the computer. So, it’s obvious that a digital notepad may be something to look into and keep.

I personally keep both and I prefer my physical notepad but hey, the digital version may work better for you. It’s pretty handy to open and keep notepad files rather than using Word to jot your ideas..

Here’s some alternatives

NotePad2  – includes drag & drop editing, regular expression searches, Unicode support and syntax highlighting. (Syntax Highlighting…yumm)

MetaPad  – easy access to word wrap, font settings, the print button and search and replace. Also allows you to add links easily

NoteTab - (I use the Lite Version)  Click the link to get to the features page :)

Let me know what your favorite NotePad Alternative is.
