Why productivity hacks won’t work for you
I thought we’d do a late night rambling here.
I can still remember when I was having difficulty with my time management; I remember reading tons and lots of productivity tips, signing up for tons of apps that were supposedly going to solve my problems.
Here’s the news….
They don’t and they won’t solve the problem.
Im not saying they don’t work. I get excited when I hear about a new tool that can make me productive and tell you what….
I’m at the point now where playing around and setting up these tools will actually help boost my productivity.
How’s that?
It’s a simple thing. The hacks work only if you know how to work them.
Think of it like installing cool things on your computer – it really doesn’t matter what kind of apps you have, if you don’t know how to use a computer, those applications aren’t going to help you.
Invest time in understanding and taking care of inner productivity killers before outside hacks can help you.
Outside tools and such work but they aren’t powerful enough to tackle your inner tendency to procrastinate or manage your time poorly.
